Slider 1.6
- Reduced time updating, should improve battery usage.(minor)
- Fixed time switching bug, should work when you change timezones etc.
- Added 24hr time
- should no longer get 907 download errors
- Setting the background picture should be easier, it now just takes a screenshot of the image. This should make it easier for people that were trying to use large images and wasnt working. This should solve a lot of the picture problems. What you see on the screen is what you get, so if you zoom on a img etc.
- Made the password entry screen nicer.
- Support for Black or White text incase you have a black backround or white.(under options)

I am wondering if it is possible to make the app start to work when I click the lock button? Atm it works when the backlight dims. I dont know if this is a possible clash with my theme (iBerry_Slide) which has its own lock screen (an image of the slide bar, but non functional). Anyone way to solve this if this is the clash?
This slider app is great and the best one out there but it drained the battery in my Storm 2. With BB Messenger as the only other app running my battery would only last half a day. I removed the Slider app and the battery lasts all day. Anyone else have this issue? I would like to use the app again if the battery thing wasnt an issue.
Ok cool that should be an easy fix right? Also I have a suggestion.
I was thinking if you could have an option to disable the autolock when listening to music? I like to adjust the volume or change tracks while my phone is still in my pocket and when it locks I can’t do either without having to unlock it and when I unlock it the sound pauses the music.
ya I fixed it already, but thats the only change so I haven’t done a release. I looked into the music thing before. I can’t tell if its playing, but I can tell if you have the music application running. I could check for that case.
No I don’t use any apps I just use the normal music player >.<
Whenever i try the password protect on my Storm 2 no matter what password i try it only uses the last 3 numbers i put in.
does it let you set the 4? When you unlock it the screen kinda disappears after you enter the 4th digit. but it still requires it. If you enter in 4 digits, and only 3 correct does it still unlock for you? I wasnt able to reproduce what your seeing.
I put 0990 as the password and it wouldn’t do anything so I tried 990 and it unlocked. It does the same thing when I put in 10 random numbers it only shows the last 3
Thanks frankie, I found the bug, it will only occur if you start with 0. For now just use a key that doesnt start with 0.
Andy, I’d recommend first trying the reset command under options, second delete the app, reboot and reinstall. If those fail you could send me the log file. Reproduce the issue then run Javaloader.

It says that there is an uncaught exception or someyhing like that.

Then activate slider it still doesnt work for you?
I can’t seem to change the background picture. I’ve taken a screenshot but it won’t work for that one either.
Chris what are your settings under slider? Try using reset under options.
We are both having issues now. It just doesn’t come on anymore. It won’t activate anymore after the phone dims nor will it activate by clicking the icon. When I click the icon, the slider screen pops up for a split second like its trying to work but then goes away by itself. There’s no specific error.
I love the app, it’s awesome, But for some reason it keeps malfunctioning on my Storm2. One minute it works and the next minute it doesn’t and I have to go re-download, re-install it, re-boot the phone, and etc. Really frustrating. Any ideas on what the problem might be. The thing is, my girlfriend has the same phone and app and hasn’t had any issues yet. So maybe its my phone??
Do you get a specific error? Can you describe the problem?
Are you running the same os app version as your gf?
